Warehouse/Inventory Control Manager
Direct Hire, $120-140K
Location: Locust Grove, Georgia
Embark on an exciting career as an Inventory Control Manager in our newly established one million+ square feet distribution center in Locust Grove, Georgia. As a pivotal member of the leadership team, you'll oversee inventory operations and ensure impeccable service delivery in a thriving 3PL distribution environment.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of distribution environment experience, with at least 5 years in a management position
- 5 years in an inventory leadership role
- Solid experience in highly-automated distribution environments
- Strong knowledge of and experience with SOX inventory controls/compliance
- 3+ years of WMS experience; expertise in Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, Manhattan, or SAP is a plus
- Experience in handling retail, apparel, or e-commerce goods in a 3PL environment is preferred
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the success of the inventory function and customer satisfaction in a vast distribution facility
- Lead, train, and motivate the inventory team, evaluating and guiding their performance
- Introduce new techniques and analytics to enhance the planning process
- Lead the annual cost planning process with accuracy and transparency
- Monitor discrepancies through cycle counts and adjustments
- Implement loss prevention programs to reduce shrinkage and minimize risk
- Develop a recovery program for defective products, ensuring proper accountability
- Drive process improvement and accountability based on goals, creating action plans and tracking issue resolution
- Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all inventory roles
- Manage quality and accuracy assurance programs, including generating weekly and monthly reports
- Create necessary reports and documentation for accurate counts
- Drive accountability and process improvement based on KPIs and targets, including action plans and issue resolution tracking
