Product Videographer And Video Editor

Can you make products POP on camera? If so, this role is for you. This is an on-site job (with potential to go hybrid), so must be located in Pennsylvania.  

Role Description

The ideal candidate will be someone who can listen to my take on a product and shoot relevant, creative, and beautiful b-roll. This person will then be able to take that footage and edit an engaging video in its entirety in preparation for a weekly video release. Other concurrent projects may also take place during the week (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, etc). All equipment is provided on-site. Full-length YouTube videos usually range from 8-15 minutes long. 

Must Have Requirements

- STRONG DESIRE TO GROW SKILLS IN PRODUCT VIDEOGRAPHY. Product videography is a niche field. I am OK if you're not as familiar with product videography (especially here in PA!), but this person will be expected to watch, learn, and grow from skilled videographers in the YouTube/commercial world and try to replicate those ideas! 
- Strong understanding of how cameras work (aperture, ISO, shutter speed, focal lengths, bokeh, slow motion)
- Strong understanding of lighting 
- Keen eye for clean aesthetics and high quality production (think MKBHD)
- Strong understanding of video editing software (preferably Adobe Creative Suite such as Premiere Pro and After Effects)
- Strong understanding of sound design
- Ability to think on your feet and sometimes with little instruction

Nice-to-Have Requirements

- Color grading
- Audio editing

- Is this a 9-5 job? It will be at first, but as we develop a better working relationship, as long as you're getting your work done, you can come and go whenever you need.   
- Will I be allowed to give input in the creative process? 1000000% yes!! I want you to own the creative side of the house. I am looking for someone who knows this stuff better than I do and can provide their expertise!

- Equipment Needed? All equipment will be provided on-site (2x Sony A7siii, Windows PC, Edelkrone Jig, multiple gimbals, Aputure lights, etc)
