Assistant Editor (Video)

A local production company is looking for a part-time Assistant Editor who is familiar with Avid. For the right candidate there is the potential to turn into full time work.

Responsibilities:

- Assist other AE's with media organization, ingest, stacking and grouping of footage.

- Able to multitask and keep all projects tidy and organized.

- Creating Lower Thirds and simple title graphics

- Finding and logging B-roll from sourced footage or other platforms

- Sourcing licensed music

- Marking sequences from producers notes

- Editing Basic stringouts from producers notes and TC

- Good communication

- Export various rough cuts with TC

- Upres footage from proxy to highres and export final sequences
