We are hiring a Product Support Specialist in Lake City, MN, with limited hours during the summer months.From September to February, the position will have hours from 8:30-3:00 PM, Monday-Friday.  Then March to August, the individual will be asked to work just 16 hours per month for training.
Our Product Support Specialists are responsible for serving as the front line communication with Hearth & Home Technologies customers. Our customers include architects, consumers, direct and indirect buying dealers, builders, distributors, and field service technicians. Product Support Specialists provide detailed information and skilled resolution of concerns via product specs, detailed sales information, service parts information, parts availability and pricing, and troubleshooting practices. The team you work with will be highly skilled and trained. The products and company you represent are best-in-class.
As a Product Support Specialist, you will:

  • Answer live phone calls from HHT customers, which are technical in nature requiring product knowledge and use of available resources while managing consumer expectations.
  • Respond to inbound emails and make follow-up outbound calls of a technical nature to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Actively participate in hands-on training to maximize exposure, knowledge, and expertise on products.
  • Work independently with a moderate level of decision making to address issues in an appropriate manner.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office and accurate typing and data entry skills
  • Strong negotiation, conflict management, and decision making skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and members at all levels
  • Ability to handle stress with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work additional hours during peak demand
