Overview

As a Product Specialist, you are the catalyst between Avison Young's technology products, sales teams, and clients. Your goal is to understand our product suite's target audience and competing solutions, coordinate our go-to-market strategy & product launches, lead training workshops, and measure our products' performance to continually inform the direction of our roadmap. On a typical day you will conduct market research, coordinate product releases, assist with the creation of deliverables, lead product demos, and capture both quantitative and qualitative feedback on the functionality & experience of our products. You will partner closely with Marketing to drive adoption of and engagement around our products, and with Product Management to thoughtfully inform the direction of our product roadmap.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to inform product strategy.
    • Meet with stakeholders & SMEs, perform desktop research, compile surveys, attend product demos, and track competitive solutions that help inform our value proposition.
    • Partner with Product Management to translate market research into product strategy.
  • Coordinate go-to-market strategies and product releases.
    • Perform product demonstrations and training workshops for our sales teams, support staff & clients.
    • Assist sales teams in pitching our product to clients and reaching our target audience.
    • Partner with Marketing to create product overviews, instructional guides, playbooks, promotional materials, and craft messaging for product campaigns and events.
  • Measure success and collect feedback to support ongoing product development.
    • Configure, track, analyze and report KPIs related to user behavior, adoption, revenue generation, marketing campaigns, and other performance-based measures.
    • Reach out to and interact with users, both inside and outside the company, and summarize their feedback on product features, functionality, and user experience.
    • Formulate and regularly report product recommendations to Product Managers based on success measures and user feedback. Recommend areas for improvement.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience related to marketing software or digital products.
  • Proven ability to conduct, organize and summarize market research
  • Proven ability to craft marketing campaigns and coordinate product launches
  • Proven ability to present to internal and external audiences with enthusiasm and confidence
  • Exceptional project management skills; ability to organize & track project tasks and continually engage and prompt partners on next steps
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders and produce complex deliverables under tight deadlines in partnership with an interdisciplinary team
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business administration or relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Pendo, Figma, Azure DevOps or other product or design management software are considered a plus.
  • Experience in a (commercial) real estate setting is considered a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
