Hoffmann Group USA is seeking a Product Specialist. The Product Specialist will assist the Manager of Product Management in planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle including vendor relationships, by identifying potential products, conducting market research, generating product requirements, determining specifications, pricing and time-integrated plans for product promotion and marketing strategies.
Essential Functions:
- Execute product strategy as directed by Product Management Manager
- Coordinates the overall implementation of the product content strategy and the further development of the data supply chain for all channels
- Support Inside Sales department with quotes, sourcing and local purchasing
- Work with established new suppliers
- Preparation and enrichment of supplier contents according to Hoffmann standards
- Close collaboration with the Product Management international and product content team to integrate suppliers
- Prospective adoption of content development and maintenance for country-specific articles and assortments from the European regions
- Understanding of pricing structure, discounts and mark-ups
- Ability to perform market research
- Analyze product movement and inventory
- Content management for the Product Management department, including the eShop
- Assist in other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree and higher a plus
- Industry experience is a plus
- Excellent computer skills with various systems
- Intermediate to advance level in Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently and on team projects
- Quick learner and self-directed

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
