Job description

As passionate about our people as we are about our mission.
What We're All About:
Q2 is proud of delivering our mobile banking platform and technology solutions, globally, to more than 22 million end users across our 1,300 financial institutions and fintech clients. At Q2, our mission is simple: Build strong, diverse communities by strengthening their financial institutions. We accomplish that by investing in the communities where both our customers and employees serve and live.
What Makes Q2 Special?
Being as passionate about our people as we are about our mission. We celebrate our employees in many ways, including our "Circle of Awesomeness" award ceremony and day of employee celebration among others! We invest in the growth and development of our team members through ongoing learning opportunities, mentorship programs, internal mobility, and meaningful leadership relationships. We also know that nothing builds trust and collaboration like having fun. We hold an annual Dodgeball for Charity event at our Q2 Stadium in Austin, inviting other local companies to play, and community organizations we support to raise money and awareness together.
The Job At-A-Glance:
Q2's Decision Intelligence Platform brings together insights, coaching and connected applications to support Financial Institutions to have a seamless experience in delighting their customers. The platform plays a key role in delivering scalable and innovative solutions for Financial Institutions through the PrecisionLender and Centrix suite of products.
As a Product Owner for the decision intelligence platform team, you'll be part of the Product function and work closely with our software engineers, product managers, and clients. You'll use your knowledge of industry best practices on data platforms and analytics, the commercial fraud and risk industry, our platforms and our clients' needs to find ways to improve our products and processes.
You'll be empowered to listen to our clients' needs and act on them. Our Product Owners work on a myriad of different projects including prioritization, execution, client implementation, feature ripening, designing mockups, testing new software, sprint planning, and owning the backlog.
You'll collaborate cross-functionally to understand the job-to-be-done and improve the users' experience. You'll know how to determine what success looks like for a project and be able to tie it back to the company's goals.
What People Say About You:
  • You have stellar written and verbal communication skills, and the gift of explaining complicated things simply.
  • You're driven and persistent, so you look for ways to make our processes better and then you make those plans reality.
  • Your scrappiness makes you a natural problem solver who doesn't give up when you don't know all the answers right away. You'll have the resources you need to continually hone your skills and improve your knowledge.
  • You have a bias towards action and never walk by a mess without cleaning it up.

Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here's What We're Looking For:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science or business administration and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC process and the ability to work in an agile environment with bi-weekly releases
  • Decision-making based on research and data
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Suite, and data reporting tools such as PowerBI or Tableau is preferred
