Iot Product Manager

As a result of the fast expansion in the Industrial IoT Industry, Anova is currently looking for an experienced Hardware Product Manager to manage a growing product portfolio and to ensure its continue evolution to meet market needs.

We are looking for someone based in Coimbra (Portugal), Porto (Portugal), New Providence (New Jersey) or Blair (Nebraska)

What you’ll do:

As a Hardware Product Manager at Anova, you are the leader. You are responsible for results of your products.

What does the market need? How will your products meet those needs? What is the near- and long-term roadmap? How is your product launched, promoted, and sold? What are your key product metrics and forecasted financial results and how are you ensuring they are met? These questions and more are your domain.

Your responsibilities start with the customer – engaging regularly to listen, watch, and understand their needs, how they are serving their end customers, and how your products help them succeed every day. You will understand the market potential, and help Anova grow that potential.

Your products will interact through all layers of the IoT technology stack, including hardware, embedded software and connectivity. You will interface regularly with our SaaS teams on how your products perform in the field and serve the customers best.

You will engage with business and engineering teams to translate a shared vision into execution that enables the organization to reach their product development goals, increase productivity, realize efficiencies, and maximize user value.

You will leverage your exceptional organizational and communication skills to balance workloads and expectations, while also using your analytical mind to synthesize product usage trends and identify opportunities to improve the users’ experience.

Product Life Cycle Management

• Uncover and analyze customer and market requirements
• Develop technology and/or product roadmaps
• Conduct continual reviews of market and customer needs together with profitability

Product Life Cycle Management

• Define functional product specifications and epics
• Develop and execute product launch plans
• Initiate required actions to maintain the product portfolio’s competitiveness

On-going Product Support

• Provide product related training for Sales persons
• Participate in annual budget process related to overhead expenses
• Manage the ramp-down of obsolete products

What you'll need to succeed:

• Good technical knowledge of the Industrial IoT industry
• Well versed with the IoT Technology stack (hardware, firmware, connectivity)
• Ability to use financial models and conduct scenario analyzes
• Ability to prioritize workload, communicate status and risks to delivery effectively
• Ability to uncover customer challenges and convert them into product requirements
• Highly developed project, process and time management skills
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Product Management or related field
• 7+ years in Hardware Product Management, Required (preferably Industrial IoT-related)
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to reach your goals
• Experience in bringing IoT products to market in a fast-paced environment
• Up to 15% travel likely, with up to 30% in the first months as you learn about your customers
