About the Job
- Locations include Spring, Texas (preferred location), and US remote.
- Typically need at least a Science Bachelor's degree and minimum 6-8 years full-time relevant work experience. Master's degree and/or MBA is a big plus.
The Team
We are a growing centralized team focused solely on developing Generative AI powered applications, especially using large language models. The team includes data scientists, machine learning engineers, and software engineers.
The Role
You will play a pivotal role in implementing Generative AI applications across the HP enterprise, where current focus is on apps powered by large language models. These apps will be demoed to HP's top executive leadership team. You will handle incoming requests, work with business stakeholders and engineers to define core platform products as well as custom applications.
Skills And Profile
The role may be somewhat tailored to the skills of the chosen candidate.
- Entrepreneurial competitive start-up mindset with a sense of urgency, combined with an ability to structure, plan, and document work.
- Experience launching a v1 product for a software company, especially a B2B SaaS product.
- Experience navigating a complex landscape of teams and applications (e.g. sales, support, marketing)
- Beyond capturing "requirements" you can proactively imagine Gen AI solutions and opportunities.
- Although you are not expected to code, some prior industry hands-on coding experience in machine learning, data science, and/or software engineering is needed.
- Knowledge of Generative AI and large language models.
- Skilled in meeting facilitation and meeting management. You drive meetings and reach out to stakeholders across the organization to accomplish your objective.
- Experience with standard bottom-up project estimation.
- Versed in standard agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA.
- Aptitude for crisp and clear written documentation, using for example Confluence.
- Scrum master experience; Issue tracking.
- An MBA and/or some management consulting experience is a big plus.
- The recent AI progress is disruptive, and our team is in the midst of it. As a consequence, day-to-day priorities, tasks, and team structure may change rapidly. Roles may be at times be unclear. We are looking for somebody who thrives in such an environment. The role is not a fit if you value "business as usual".
Education And Length Of Experience
For this position, you need at minimum a relevant Bachelor's degree (Computer Science preferred) and a minimum of 6-8 years experience. Master's degree and/or an MBA is a big plus.
