Job Description: Product Development Coordinator
Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate and facilitate Product Development projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure adherence to schedules.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between different departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Facilitate regular meetings to update team members on project progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with overall project goals.
- Maintain open lines of communication with key stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and status reports.
- Generate regular reports for management, summarizing project status, key metrics, and potential issues.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure that products meet established standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any issues and make necessary adjustments to improve product quality.
Timeline Management:
- Develop and manage project timelines, identifying critical path activities and mitigating potential delays.
- Work closely with team members to prioritize tasks and allocate resources efficiently.
Product Launch Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of product launches, coordinating activities across departments to ensure a seamless introduction of new products to the market.
- Provide post-launch support by monitoring product performance and addressing any post-launch issues.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Product Development coordination or a related role.
- Proven track record of successfully coordinating and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Organizational Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
