Job Summary:
Nature's Mark is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer for Licensed Seasonal Decor Products. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing a range of Seasonal Decor products that align with our clients' licensed properties and brands. Preferred experience with Disney, Marvel, Peanuts, Warner Brothers properties, Coca-Cola, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Conceptualization and Design:
Develop concepts and designs for Licensed Seasonal products.
Create detailed product specifications and design documents.
Collaborate with the product development team to create samples and prototypes.
Client Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and align the designs with their brand.
Present designs and concepts to customers and licensors for approval.
Revise designs based on customer and licensor feedback.
Market Research:
Analyze market trends and competitor products.
Stay updated on the latest design trends and licensed properties.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales.
Coordinate with factories and suppliers to ensure the successful production of designed products.
Desired Attributes:
· Bachelor's degree.
· Valid US work permit.
· 3-5+ years' experience in licensed product design
· Proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
· Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and design skills.
· Ability to interpret and translate client needs into design concepts.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
· This is a full-time position based on-site at our Riverside office.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role.
· Experience with licensed product design (Disney, Marvel, Peanuts, Warner Brothers properties, Coca-Cola)
· Strong aesthetic and conceptual skills.
· Knowledge of production processes and materials.
