Responsibilities
- Implementation of a project procurement plan.
- Provides direction to the Project Manager on procurement matters, status, and action items that need senior level attention.
- Coordination and structuring the contracting basis to reflect alignment with industry standards, client constraints, and GDOT policies.
- Under limited supervision, provide professional level category support in a variety of procurement activities and duties assigned.
- Handle and resolve client concerns and other Consultant firms.
- Display excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience to interact effectively with internal and external staff.
Skills and Attributes
- Answer questions from team members per their request for procurement.
- Track and provide status updates of contractual documents.
- Participate or assist in the creation/review, processing, execution, and maintenance of Request for Qualifications (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs) solicitation documents from the concept to completion.
- Post and develop solicitations to the Department of Administrative Services (DOAS), Georgia Procurement Registry’s (GPR) database for professional engineering services when required.
- Pre-screen consultants’ statement of qualifications packages to ensure compliance of regulations for professional services. Process contract task orders as required for scope of work, as well checks for grammatical errors and formatting style compliance per Transportation Services Procurement (TSP’s) defined template. Extend the time on executed task orders.
- Process Supplemental Agreements (SA) and Task Order Supplemental Agreements for time, money, and scope, when additional work is required for the master contract for completion of the project.
- Track, research, update, and enter assigned data in the Consultant Management Information System (CMIS), Contracts Authorization Tracking System (CATS) and Request Tracking System (RTS). Utilizes all the key databases for assigned tasks.
- Process requests for additional personnel to add to existing contracts.
