Procurement / Sourcing Analyst

Knowledge Services is actively seeking a Procurement / Sourcing Analyst for a contract opportunity with our client located in Carmel, IN. This is 3 month contract (open to extension). This person can work a hybrid schedule (2 days in the office, 3 days remote)The Sourcing Analyst will partner with internal business units to research, evaluate, assess, and contract Software Renewals that exist within the company's technology landscape. The Sourcing Analyst will leverage their knowledge, skills, and resources to execute software contracts and renewals, balancing opportunity with risk to optimize value in support of the business units goals. A successful candidate will maintain positive and proactive interaction with business stakeholders and suppliers, develop unique insights that inform fact-based decision making, effectively manage multiple workstreams, and balance opportunity with risk to maximize value and achieve business goals. Partner with key stakeholders to support Software procurement and renewal process.Engage early in sourcing opportunities to support business requirements developmentDevelop and execute negotiation strategies for the Software category or supplier leveraging industry best practices Identify and analyze risk during the contract development stages; negotiate and implement risk mitigations strategies through effective collaboration.Drive contract lifecycle, including establishing a contracting strategy, creating the initial draft, negotiating terms, coordinating execution, and storing the contract record, ensuring terms comply with regulatory and legal requirements, and are optimized for the business needTrack performance against established metrics Proactively manage roadmap, alerting the business to procurement needs or opportunitiesProfessionally exercise discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day workEnsure compliance with established policies and procedures.Ensure all Federal, State and Uniform Commercial Code laws, codes and business ethics are adhered to when conducting contract finalizationCompliance with all processes, procedures, and standards applicable to the position including (but not limited to): SSAE18 SOC 1 (Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16, Service Organization Controls 1), CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection), Change Management, Tariff (Open Access Transmission, Energy and Operating Reserve Markets Tariff), FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission), NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation), U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and NAESB (North American Energy Standards Board)4+ years of experience in procurement or another relevant field is required (e.g., supply chain, information technology, finance)4+ years of experience in sourcing, contacting, vendor management, and/or category managementBachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field preferredSourcing, contracting, and vendor management in the Information Technology category preferredExperience with Oracle Cloud and Sourcewell tools are preferred but not requiredKnowledge Services is an'equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Applicants with disabilities may contact'the Talent Division via telephone, e-mail, and other means to request and arrange for accommodations.
