Form of work Redaptive is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Professional to join our team. In this role, you will lead a team of Procurement professionals as they work to ensure cost savings while achieving the highest quality and timely delivery for Redaptive.
Additionally, you will use your leadership and team-building experience to drive a highly visible and key function in the Operations group. You will also partner with internal stakeholders to develop a top-down strategy, drive efficiencies, and positively influence company objectives. The Procurement Lead reports to the Sr. Director of Strategic Sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist your team in the development of procurement policy and procedures.
- Drive adherence to procurement policy.
- Procurement should work to develop positive relationships with Redaptive's supply base.
- Assist in discovery, and new supplier identification/development.
- Onboard suppliers and service providers in a timely fashion.
- Develop meaningful performance metrics for your team.
- Support the organization through accurate and timely purchase order generation.
- Assist the Category Management group in driving security of supply and yearly cost savings.
- Identify areas of supplier risk to the company.
- Project Management - work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (Ops, Product, Sales, Partner Management, Legal) to build alignment on both specific projects and procurement initiatives.
- Contract management - high familiarity with legal terms and conditions.
- Understanding of technology trends, market forces, cost trends, and supplier technology outlook.
- BA or BS degree in a relevant concentration
- 10+ years of experience in commodity management/category management/supply chain management/ops.
- Experience/exposure in the following: Lighting, HVAC, electrical, building engineering, building construction, metering, manufacturing, or other related industries.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and procurement fundamentals.
- Excellent analytical and project management capabilities.
- Proven track record of leading teams across various geographic regions.
- Experience in a matrix organization.
- Build a deep understanding of Redaptive offerings and industry trends within your team.
- Maintain a strong sense of urgency and focus.
- Adaptable, flexible to changing priorities, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent presentation, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Collaboration and influence management skills.
- Passionate about Redaptive's mission to transform the way resources are consumed, making buildings better for people, the planet, and the bottom line.
- Have an ergonomically correct and functional work-from-home workstation set up; amenable to working from home for the foreseeable future.
- MBA degree
- CSCP (APICS) or CPSM (ISM)
- Experience with both commodity and service offerings
