Education & Requirements
- Four (4) years of procurement and contracting experience in a Procurement Department or Agency, which included contract negotiation.
- In lieu of the required Bachelor’s degree one (1) of the following scenarios will be accepted:
- A minimum of two (2) years of additional relevant work experience and an Associate’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
- This experience is in addition to the minimum years listed in the Experience Requirements above.
- If an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is not possessed, then a minimum of four (4) years additional relevant work experience is required.
Key Qualifications
- Current and extensive knowledge of procurement methods, procedures, automated purchase requisition and contract management systems.
- Contracting principles including RFP/RFQ preparations, Public Works, contract negotiation, contract law and/or basic financial analysis.
