Form of workProcurement Career Development ProgramPurpose and Scope/General Summary: JBS is seeking candidates for a part-time Procurement Analyst role at our Corporate Office in Greeley, CO. The intent of this position is to provide a year-round, entry-level position to currently enrolled college students on our Corporate Procurement Team. This is an exciting, year-round opportunity for candidates who excel in a busy, achievement-oriented environment and obtain relevant work experience that can lead to long-term placement with JBS.
School credit may be available.Responsibilities:Support category manager(s) in tracking cost saving results, supplier audits, performance analysis, and business unit reporting.Work cross functionally with plant buyers, procurement analysts and internal business stakeholders to develop business requirements for sourcing eventsParticipation in process improvement discussions and meetingsSupport supplier relationships and communication to build strategic partnerships; evaluate and measure supplier performance to ensure performance expectations are metContinuously drive improvement in the Supply Chain process by defining strategies and translating them into actionable objectives.Facilitate and author business review presentation materialsOther duties assigned.Qualifications:Preferred availability is 4 hours per day, a total of 20 hours per week. Hours must be scheduled Monday-Friday 7am-5pm, year-round.Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP experience is a plusActively pursuing an Bachelor s degree Supply Chainor Business degree preferred.Self-motivatedMaintain a high level of accuracyAbility to communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external customersAbility to multi-taskAbility to successfully work under strict deadlinesThe applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;Base salary range of $20-$25/hour; andFor individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, JBS and Pilgrim s is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role.
