Procurement Analyst Temp

Job description & duties:

• Participate in Negotiate contracts and execute spot purchases
• Create Change Order Documents for negotiated Contracts
• Create purchase orders for materials and services within SAP system based on approved purchase requisitions
• Ensure consistent supply to maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing cost
• Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the procurement of necessary materials
• Ensure supplier compliance against the contracts

Experience needs:

• High school diploma or GED
• Degree in Business Administration preferred
• 2 years’ experience as a buyer required
• 5 years’ experience as a buyer preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
• Solid understanding of procurement principles
• SAP knowledge
• procurement experience in heavy industry (steel industry preferred)
• Project experience preferred

Pay range:

$20-25 per hour

Work Schedule/Hours Needed:

· Days, Monday to Friday

· 10 hour days (5-10’s), anything over 40 is OT, some weeks will average 40-48 hours

· Occasional travel to suppliers

Contract Length:

12 months
