Position Summary:
CCM is seeking a Procurement Analyst responsible for processing requisition forms and issuing purchase orders for approved requisitions. Under the supervision of the Director of Procurement, this role requires skills in data mining and the creation of timely and accurate KPI’s. The Procurement Analyst will explore cost savings and track purchases. The Procurement Analyst will act as the analytics business partner, supporting Corporate Operations and liaising with the headquarters and field offices. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with exceptional organization skills, and strong attention to detail. This position requires excellent communication and analytical skills.
Position requires occaisonal travel to the Kansas City, MO region. Must be within driving distance.
Responsibilities:
- Process Purchase Requisition Forms
- Provide PO for all approved Requisitions and track completion of all approved PO’s
- Work closely with the Data Analytics team to develop a best in class tool to identify variances and anomalies in costs, and to investigate, analyze and remediate quickly
- Monitor and chart price changes and recommend solutions to existing process
- Collaborate with Corporate Finance to streamline the accounts payable setup for new vendors Send and receive RFPs and evaluate suppliers' proposals, make recommendations
- Ensure compliance with CCM Policies
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or minimum, 1 year of procurement or bookkeeping experience
- Analytical and a creative thinker with the ability to synthesize data into written proposals
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with experience in data mining
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Independent thinker, must be self-motivated, energetic, and organized
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records
- Interpersonal skills and success in collaborating, team building, and project management
