Form of workTim’s Cascade Snacks, a subsidiary of Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and is currently seeking for a Processor to work from our manufacturing facility located in Algona, WA on third Shift.
As a Processor, this candidate will be responsible for efficient operation of Ring production ensuring consistent flow and quality finished product. This position work at 10:30pm-06:15am from Monday night through Thursday and Friday at 10:30pm-10:30am for Sanitation. Saturdays are required during perk season.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for proper measurement of ingredients and recording lot numbers of oil, popcorn and salt.
- Ensures product flow meets standards of efficiency.
- Visually inspects finished product to ensure product quality based on standards.
- Ensures proper labeling of bulk product with production date.
- Moves pallets of bulk product using manual pallet jack.
- Keeps workstation and inspection table clean.
- Notifies Supervisor or Team Lead of any problems.
Requirements:
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented, organized, reliable and resourceful.
- Solid decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prior experience as processor in a food manufacturing, a plus.
Education:
High School Diploma/GED or on the job experienced.
Pay Range: $19.82 per hour + $1.00 for 3rd shift differential.

During the first year of service, hired applicants will earn Paid Time Off in the form of Vacation and Flex PTO at the accrual rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, earning a maximum of 40 hours of Vacation and 40 hours of Flex PTO, for a combined maximum total of 80 hours. In addition to PTO, Utz offers 6 paid company holidays each year.
