Job Duties:
- Inspect, package, and prepare for transport; product from multiple injection molding machines
- Monitor product to meet Company quality criteria and requirements
- Perform all Control Chart measurements and data recording for each specific product using micrometers, calipers, special gages, photometer, optical comparator, and proper charts and forms
- Perform stress and impact test as required for specific products
- Read and interpret product blue prints
- Inspect and audit product produced by other personnel and processes
- Reject non-conforming material using TL-105
- Perform rework and re-inspection of non-conforming product
- Perform transactions for receipt and transfer of raw material and finished goods
- Monitor material flow to the injection-molding machine and notify Supervisor or designate when material is needed
- Monitor production against requirement and notify Supervisor or designate when orders are complete
- Record data for both man hours and machine hours
- Grind runners and scrap when required
- Keep area clean and orderly and report any safety issues to your Supervisor or designate immediately
- Train new employees in proper work instructions and methods
- Operate pinner or manual press to maintain production schedule when required
- Coordinate with personnel from other tours to communicate production and process problems.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to work weekends as required
- Push/pull containers or assemblies which may weigh up to several hundred pounds (either on dollies or on edge-not dead weight)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Previous experience utilizing small hand tools
- Perform high and low repetition jobs
- Perform fine manipulations
- Firm grasping and firm cutting (up to 25 pounds of pressure periodically)
- Work through range of motions including bend and twist from waist,and above shoulder height
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Work in other areas as directed by management
Rotating schedule - work every other weekend
Pay: $16..60 to $17.60 per hour
