POSTION OBJECTIVE:
To mange a section of machines at a high efficiency meeting all production expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Summaries of the essential functions of the job include but are not limited to the following:
1. Oversee a section of injection molding machines. Properly start-up and shut down machines according to the production schedule.
2. Ensure jobs are running at the standard process parameters and standard cycle time.
3. Ensure all equipment, machines, and molds are in good running order. Work with support departments to maintain all at a high level.
4. Perform and document mold preventative maintenance.
5. Train upcoming new employees and Process Technicians as necessary
6. Participate in working weekends according to the rotating schedule.
7. Follow all company procedures and policies.
8. Promote good housekeeping and ensure a safe working environment with the proper use of guarding and PPE, etc.
9. Perform all tasks assigned by the technical supervisor

SKILLS:
1. Basic math
2. Knowledge of set-up and start-up of injection molding machines
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Five (5) years of plastics manufacturing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
