Summary
The Process technician is an integral part of the Tool Engineering and Manufacturing's (TEAM) day to day operational activities. The position will be responsible for processing work orders and supporting the engineering staff with departmental documentation. The position must also maintain a positive rapport with our internal customers and the TEAM.
Specific Job Duties
1. Shop Floor Support
- Issue work orders; create work orders in the system, update work load scheduler, print and file work order package, issue inventory and label components
- Maintain component inventory; monitor inventory levels with re-order reports, generate inventory work orders, receive and put away inventory, file and maintain component inventory records
- Receive work orders; receive and process finished work orders, file and maintain optical tool records, archive records for scraped optical tooling, update work load scheduler and ship orders to customers
- Maintain PM records
2. Documentation Support
- Update and maintain system part IDs and master work routers
- Data entry work /scanning documents
- Procedures and Validation documents
3. Purchasing
- Department office supplies
- Department requisitions and PO for material and services
Qualifications
- Education - High School Diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred but not required)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Excel, Word)
- Extremely organized
- Strong interpersonal skill (oral & written)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment

As required by New York State's pay transparency bill, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in New York State. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For New York State, the range of starting annual base pay for this role is $16.31 - $24.00 per hour.
