- Identify and corrects problems: apply experience and knowledge in making adjustments and trains others in areas of expertise; documents changes; addresses questionable parts; and monitors and focuses on scrap reduction.
- Monitor product quality on an ongoing basis. Ensures product is consistent with possible product quality and adherence to the Quality System. Verify paperwork for jobs and completion of inspections at startup of job and in-process inspections

Process Technician B (High Middle Level)
- The following tasks should be accomplished with supervision as required.
- Following instructions on the process sheet, maintain control of processes for injection molding. Verify correct set-up of molds, processes and auxiliary equipment before machine start up. Establish proper molding conditions. Perform process monitoring and troubleshooting part inspections and various other functions to insure part conformity and quality.
- Install the tooling into the injection molding machine. Position, align, and secure assembled mold, mold components, and machine accessories onto the machine press bed and attaching connecting lines.
- Measure start-up parts to insure good quality and record on Inspection Sheets; take corrective action as necessary and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Troubleshoot problems, respond to alarm, retrace program to locate problem and make necessary corrections.
- Assemble tools for the most efficient and cost effective operation, and break down tools when the job is complete.
- Store tooling in assigned location properly per accepted practices
- Must operate a forklift and overhead crane on a regular basis.
- Must demonstrate proficiency on at least two different product groups, i.e. Discrete Sets, Discrete, and/or Tubes product groups.

Material Handler (Low Middle Level)
- Review production schedule, work orders and related paperwork to plan material needs.
- Blend and prepare materials for use and load machines as required.
- Use JDE kanban system to generate work orders for blended material, and issue materials to those work orders accurately recording the material lot numbers into the system.
- Must operate a forklift on a regular basis.

Machine Operator (Entry Level)
- Understands routing and perform work as assigned by department supervisor or lead person.
- Operates molding machines maintaining an even cycle while keeping up with the machine. The Molding Machine Operator uses shrink plugs, water tanks, arbor presses and other fixtures, in cycle, to produce quality parts. Trims parts when necessary.
- Packs products into correct carts, packages and/or cartons.
- Uses measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, ring gauges, and pi tape; all employees are responsible for their own quality.
- Accurately reports work order completions, material issues, and scrap into the ERP system.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Notifies supervisor of any safety, quality, mechanical or material issues.

When lifting anything the employee feels in beyond their capacity, or anything in excess of 50 pounds, the employee is required to use a lifting aid, such as a crane or lift table, or request assisting in lifting from another employee.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM for the day shift, and 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM for the 2nd shift. During times of high production levels a 3rd shift operation may be required. Shift schedules may vary depending on business needs.
