Job Summary
We seek a Process Operator to join our team.
Job Description
- Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
- Check on equipment throughout shift to ensure equipment is working properly.
- Reads and clearly follows processes that are required.
- Contributes to division results and performance.
- Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
- Bag products, samples and test;
- Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace;
- Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon;
- Calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, run facility waste water treatment plant.
- Sort bottles by size and resin;
- Load and unload deliveries to and from regional branch;
- Operates forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and load/unload trucks;
- Evacuates bottles.
- Shift Schedule: 06:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills Required
- 1 years of industrial work experience
- Must complete site specific safety training - completed on first day
- Ability to communicate clearly to team members.
- Be able to follow and read instructions.
- Have basic math skills.
- Be able to complete 40 hour hazardous waste operations training.
- Forklift certification preferred
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma / GED
Additional Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year experience working in an industrial work setting.
Pay Rate/Salary
- $15 per hour. and higher depending on experience
