SalaryProcess Operator – Day Laborer (ENTRY LEVEL)
Plastics Forming Enterprises is an independent testing facility that tests the recyclability of plastics products. We work with virgin and post-consumer resins, labels, adhesives, and brand owners to seek answers to issues for recycling polymers and/or products. Due to growth in the industry, we are seeking a hands-on type of personality.
Process Operator Objectives – ENTRY LEVEL
This position requires someone who is eager to learn different processes and pay attention to detail in a work environment.
Day to Day Processing
- Operate process equipment such as grinders, wash station, and air separator
- Operate sample production equipment such as Injection Molders, Pellet Extrusion, Blown Film Extrusion and Compression Molding
- Able to lift 30–50lbs. on a regular basis
- Basic computer skills to input data daily and navigate data collection software
- Daily care of the equipment following cleaning procedures

- Ability to keep a clean shop and be organized with tools/materials
- Willingness to learn new things, from processing to maintenance tasks
- Detail orientated
- Computer skills (Excel, Word)
- Ability to multitask
PFE Support and Training
- 6-month review plus yearly reviews following
- Training of equipment/processes
