My client is a leading manufacturing company specializing in high-quality die-cast components for various industries. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Process Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the continuous improvement of our die casting processes.
Position Overview: As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing and enhancing our die casting operations. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, troubleshooting issues, implementing improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Analyze, evaluate, and optimize die casting processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to develop and implement strategies for maintaining high-quality standards in die casting operations.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues related to die casting processes, equipment, or materials promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production targets.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, implementing best practices, and driving innovations in die casting processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality control, to ensure seamless coordination and communication in achieving production goals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, procedures, and improvements to facilitate knowledge transfer and compliance with industry standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and perform routine maintenance on die casting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all die casting processes comply with safety regulations and implement measures to enhance the overall safety of the production environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in die casting processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to creating a safe work environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for process optimization and data analysis.
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
