Position:Process Engineer
Location: Logan, UT (on-site)
Process Engineer- Reports to the Process Engineering Manager
About the Role:
As a Process Engineer at Spartronics, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and developing production plans and processes, identifying areas of process improvement and providing process support for internal Spartronics customers.
Your contributions will help us continue our journey towards Winning as One: One company. One team. One purpose. One plan. One culture.
What a Typical Day Looks Like:

  • Monitor process improvement data including flow, efficiency, and layout
  • Perform equipment maintenance and calibration
  • Conduct studies to improve equipment efficiency regarding quality, availability, and throughput
  • Provide process support and training for manufacturing personnel.

Requirements
The Experience We're Looking for to Add to the Team:
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 0 - 2 years of related work experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Working knowledge of engineering practices/procedures regarding electronic components and manufacturing
  • Follow standard practices/procedures to develop solutions for simple engineering issues
  • Basic level failure analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Work independently and in a team environment
  • Moderate-level computer skills including Microsoft Office and CAD
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing principles including Six Sigma and Lean
  • Good conflict resolution
  • Prioritize and multitask
  • Due to ITAR Regulations all employees must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Green Card Holder.
