The Chemical Processing Engineer works directly with processing manager, quality engineers, and environmental engineers to ensure company compliance to customer, industry, and government requirements.  They have a working knowledge of the various chemical methods related to processing detailed aerospace components. This position requires an understanding of customer specifications and required procedures to complete Chemical Processes.

The perfect fit

 Are we aligned? We might be if this is you:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry field or 3-5 years related experience
• Six months minimum experience in processing
• Knowledge of all applicable specifications and procedures
• Understand the purposes and parameters of each of ALIGN PRECISION – Cedar City’s processing tanks
• Understand all state regulations and operating parameters for waste water
• Knowledge of all chemicals used for processing and waste water treatment
• Understand hazardous waste labeling procedures
• Basic computer skills
• Working knowledge of customer specifications and requirements
• Ability to use conductivity meter, pH meter, spectrophotometer, and other lab equipment.
• Proficient knowledge of all quality systems and special processor requirements
• Experience applicable to root cause analysis and corrective action.
• knowledge of air quality and waste water regulations
• Mastery of intermediate math and stoichiometry.
• Understand and obey safety requirements
• Commitment to keep work area clean and free of debris
• Able to understand and communicate in English
