Process Development Associate

In this vital role you will serve as a member of Amgens Pivotal Synthetic Drug Product development team, learning and providing hands-on formulation and process expertise during the development of clinical and commercial formulations for synthetic oral and parental dosage forms.

• Interface within the Drug Product Technologies Department as a team member to support programs and initiatives.

• Contribute to the completion of experimentation design and execution and assist in analysis and interpretation of data.

• Organize and communicate information within the team to help lead to the best possible formulation and processes.

• Bachelors degree OR

• Associates degree and 2 years of Process development experience OR

• High school diploma / GED and 4 years of Process development experience

• Bachelors degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical or Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemistry or Life Sciences other related field.

• Strong problem-solving skills to apply formulation and characterization of parenteral and oral synthetic molecules

• Ability to design, execute, and interpret experimental results

• Basic understanding of physical/chemical stability of synthetic molecules and how process impacts product quality.

• Success working with diverse team members in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

• Motivated self-starter with excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
