Rapidly growing food manufacturing company in Lynn is currently seeking an experienced Process Control Specialist.
This is a temp to hire, 1st shift position.
The Process Control Specialist will accurately scale ingredients, conduct studies, organize, analyze data, and makes sure the integrity of the data in the system is accurate.
The Process Control Specialist will assist shift coordinator with daily administrative duties. In addition, implement and enforce processes and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reads daily productions schedule and select formula for desired batches.
Check scale for proper calibration.
Accurately scale ingredients according to establish formulas.
Places assembled ingredients for each batch with identifying batch number on rack
Keep bins filled with proper ingredients as needed.
Keep ample supply of scaled ingredients in the racks in the mixing area.
Comply with FDA, OSHA, EPA and all other regulatory agencies.

Closing jobs throughout production.
Skills and Abilities:
Reading, writing and Mathematics skills.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft software applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, etc.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
Requires a working knowledge of Statistical Process Control concepts, principles, and calculations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Ability to prioritize, identify problems, and seek solutions, as well as, follow up and follow through on set tasks.
Ability to read and follow instructions, such as safety rules, operating and sanitation instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization.
Proficient in computer, various software packages and data management systems.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with 2-5 years of related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Servsafe or food Service Handler Certification (Preferred)
· General knowledge of most production and processing areas of the plant.(Preferred))
