Job Description
Job Summary:PRN Occupational Therapist will provide direct patient care to home bound patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develops and revises plan of care in consultation with physician and other care-team members.
- Provides therapeutic treatments and evaluation of equipment needs as applicable.
- Participates in clinical conferences and in-service programs.
- Conducts on-site supervisory visits of certified occupational therapy assistants.
- Advises and consults with the family and other agency personnel as applicable.
- Prepares clinical and progress notes.
- Protects and honors patient and coworker confidentiality and right to privacy.
- Evaluates outcomes of care.
- Plans for discharge.
Qualifications & Skills:
- - Current Texas OT License.
- - Current Certification in BSL/CPR
- - Prior experience in home health
- - Valid Texas Driver's License and Automobile Insurance
- - Knowledge of WellSky EMR software is a plus
Salary: Pay Per Visit including mileage reimbursement.
