Private Caregiver

Job Title: Caregiver

Duties:
- Provide direct support and care for a individual with Dementia.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation if needed.
- Administer medications as prescribed by a nurse or healthcare professional.
- Monitor and document changes in clients' health and behavior.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs to and from the restroom and around the house.
- Create a safe and supportive environment for the individual in her home.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care for clients.

Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of working with individuals with mental disabilities, dementia, or senior care is a plus.
- Familiarity with medication administration and documentation is beneficial.

Skills:
- Compassionate and patient approach to caregiving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures
