Privacy Security Engineer

What you can expect

Zoom is looking for an experienced Privacy and Security Engineer to help reinforce Zoom as a global privacy leader. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to drive design and implementation of products with robust privacy and security controls. You’ll conduct privacy and security assessments, provide guidance, and facilitate communication across departments. Ideal candidate has privacy engineering and product security background, excellent communication skills, and stays updated on industry trends, best practices.

About the Team

On this team, you'll utilize your privacy and security expertise to drive Zoom's privacy standards in engineering and products. You'll conduct source code and architecture reviews, lead privacy assessments for new features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and streamline privacy processes. Your role involves identifying and mitigating privacy concerns in AI-related features, defining privacy goals, and providing guidance to protect users' privacy. Additionally, you'll evaluate tools for privacy implementation, offer training, and mentor other team members in security and engineering roles.

What we’re looking for

• Have 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of related experience with a Master’s degree.
• Experience performing privacy and security reviews at the design and implementation level, including code review and testing
• Experience focusing on privacy and security-related design, privacy and security incident management, or privacy and security research.
• Experience in a corporate setting, effectively communicating technical issues to leadership, driving consensus, and ensuring comprehensive mitigation of privacy and security concerns.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$106,500.00

Maximum:

$197,000.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
