American Water is seeking aPrint Production and Mailroom Coordinator to join our team in Camden, NJ! Based out of our corporate office, this role will work out of our mailroom and print center. You will use a variety of printing equipment and software to complete day-to-day work requests, as well as accept packages, sort and deliver mail, as well as perform data entry. Our ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Coordinate production of printed materials including, but not limited to: bound books, business cards, wide format printing and mounting, laminations and large mailings. Receipt and processing of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, freight deliveries on loading dock and inter-departmental mail, correspondence, reports, and deliveries in accordance with established procedures. Mail pertains to USPS and Certified mail. Packages and freight deliveries pertains to UPS, FED EX, Amazon, Office Depot, etc.
Print Production:
- Perform printing duties related to the duplication of high-quality marketing materials, board reports, and agendas.
- Operation of print machinery such as: envelope machinery, cutting devices, Cannon printers/copiers, Neopost and Northern Machine Works, etc.
- Keep customers informed of job status.
- Determine supplies, materials and equipment needed for jobs.
Mailroom:
- Process incoming and outgoing mail/packages/freight deliveries (loading dock) following appropriate safety procedures for all departments including Customer Service Center.
- Re-direct misdirected correspondence and deliveries to correct recipient(s), and, if necessary, notify appropriate individuals of the status of the misdirected correspondence or delivery.
- Maintain copier and postage machine equipment, including ordering copy paper, supplies, and service as required.
- Facilitate the remittance process pertaining to check attachments (from Accounts Payable and Cash Management.)
- Assist with loading dock inventory/cleanliness.
- Assist in minor building maintenance work, as needed.
- To perform these roles in such a manner that maintains a customer service focus, and according to company values and culture.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as MS Word, MS Excel.
- Knowledge of mailroom processes.
- 1 year Print Production/mailroom experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Primarily an indoor environment.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds is necessary.
- Full-time
- Monday-Friday, day shift
