Digital Print Production/Designer

Local printing company in the Newark area is looking for someone fluent in all aspects of Digital Printing. We require great attention to detail and organizational skills. Some of your tasks will include Digital Printing, large format printing, creating signs, bindery, and being part of a cohesive team. This shop is growing and has an active and aggressive marketing plan in place. You must desire to work in a fast-paced environment and produce high quality work.

General Responsibilities:

Understand, set-up and operate Digital Print equipment

Set files for printing, color calibrating, imposition

Review job specification from work orders and ensure that client files are accurate to produce job

Productions of finished product, from digital presses to wide-format printers from setting up files in the Fiery Command Workstation to bindery operations.

Make deliveries

General shop cleaning

Required Skills

Strong Knowledge of Xerox, Konica Minolta, or similar digital

Experience using a Command Workstation

Experience in large format printing and sign production

Excellent time-management skills

Handle multiple tasks and aggressive daily deadlines with minimal supervision

Extraordinary attention to detail.

Work independently as a member of a team from concept to completion.

Excellent organizational and communication skill (written and verbal)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Large Format Printing: 3 years (Required)
• Using a Cutter: 3 years (Required)
• Using Bindery Equipment: 3 years (Required)

• Operating a Digital Press: 3 years (Required)
