Wecurrently have a great opportunity for a Print and Graphic Designer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Create, edit/manipulate, setup/tech, and send to factory/mill for development:
- Seasonal prints, stripes, plaids and jacquard patterns for multiple brands
- Logos, tags, and labels pertaining to the brand?s packaging
- Artwork for graphic tees
- Understand and manage print restrictions such as repeat sizes, color limitations, and costing challenges
- Work closely with the Design Director to establish the overall seasonal print direction for each brand
- Collaborate with Designers on print development by classifications
- Assist in prepping for internal meetings and market appointments
- Is an expert resource on graphic and print product aesthetic and techniques/processes
- Constantly research and present aspirational and competitive market trends and new techniques in prints and graphics
- Adjust to changing business needs
- Adhere to time & action calendar
- Partner with the Legal Department to ensure that graphics/designs do not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Develop and manage a reference library to allow prompt and easy access for all product groups
- Enter prints in to PLM system
- Send out artwork to factories
- Communicate with factories to achieve the print outcomes
- Review and comment on print strike-offs
