The Newton Board of Education is seeking a dynamic, tenacious and inclusive instructional leader with a record of leadership accomplishment, a commitment to success for all students, and the ability to build and maintain an equitable, collaborative, and supportive educational environment.
Qualifications

• NJ principal certificate required
• Three years of supervisory and/or administrative experience preferred
• Possesses superior leadership, organizational, and management skills
• Embraces excellence through equity, the power of diversity, and the value of care
• Communicates well with school, family, and community stakeholders
• Demonstrates effective use of administrative and instructional technology
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Must have three professional letters of recommendation

Required criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.
Must be a NJ resident within one year from date of hire.
