Job Summary:
In this role you will use complex algorithms, they process all of the bits and bytes received and turn them into useable information for the end users who consume this data. As the volume of data grows, ground stations need to evolve and adapt.
We are seeking Software Engineers to work onsite in Aurora, CO.
Basic Qualifications:
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
Experience developing in Java.
Experience with one or more of the following: WebLogic, Chef, Ansible
Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Experience with API concepts and technologies such as REST, JSON, JMS, XML, and SOAP.
Ability to troubleshoot and fix complex software problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with some area of satellite ground system software
Experience with Atlassian Tools
Experience with Agile Development

This position is onsite at our campus in spectacular Aurora, CO. The campus is surrounded by 91 miles of walking and hiking trails, including the nearby High Line Canal Trail. As Colorado's third largest city after Denver and Colorado Springs, Aurora is also the most diverse with over 100 parks, six public golf courses, wildlife habitats, historical structures, conservation centers, landmarks, art centers, libraries, shopping malls, and cultural centers.

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
