We are seeking a Principal RF HW Electrical Engineer to work in our Clarksburg MD office. This position reports to the Product Support Engineering Manager.

- Work across multiple disciplines supporting manufacturing activities related to Radio Frequency (RF) circuits, circuit card assemblies, and products for Tactical Radio, SATCOM, and Land Mobile Radio markets
- Fault resolution of RF designs of high complexity and high density utilizing RF power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, bandpass & lowpass filters, frequency mixers used in small size, weight, and power (SWAP) products
- Analyze product failure data and malfunction testing trends, troubleshoot yield issues, and recommend product improvements, including test improvements.
- Perform root cause analysis on field failures and support continuous product improvements.
- Effectively troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions.
- Participate in continuous improvement and team building activities. Maintains productive working relationships with all team members.
- Complete assigned tasks in a quality and timely manner with minimal supervision.
- Effectively support and communicate to management status, issues, needs and ideas.
- Support component qualification of obsolete components, which may include schematic and PCB layout activities.
- Help maintain lab, equipment, and work areas.

- US Citizenship Required - Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance.
- Must have at least eight years of experience in a manufacturing / production environment providing analysis and test of RF components used in LMR, Tactical Communications, or SATCOM equipment covering 30MHz to L-Band.
- BSEE/MSEE or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of RF circuits as it applies to communication products used for Tactical Radio, SATCOM, and/or Land Mobile Radio products.
- Working knowledge of test equipment: spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, oscilloscopes, power supplies, meters, etc.
- Experience utilizing software tools including Altium Designer and Siemens (Mentor) Xpedition, Lab View, and Microsoft Office tools. Knowledge/usage of Microwave Office, Keysight ADS, Eagleware, Genesys, LTspice, and Matlab a plus.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and non-verbal.
