Position Overview
Pantheon Data has a need for aMarine Electrical Engineerto support our program at the United States Coast Guard - Surface Forces Logistics Center. This person will work within the Maritime Lifecycle Readiness group to provide engineering support to the United States Coast Guard - Surface Forces Logistics Center.

Position Overview
Pantheon Data has a need for aMarine Electrical Engineerto support our program at the United States Coast Guard - Surface Forces Logistics Center. This person will work within the Maritime Lifecycle Readiness group to provide engineering support to the United States Coast Guard - Surface Forces Logistics Center.
Responsibilities
- Conduct design, analysis, studies, and recapitalization of electrical circuits, power monitoring and control systems, electric propulsion, power generation and distribution systems and related equipment.
- Provide support reviewing third party design modifications and improvements to electrical systems and components.
- Review and adjudicate system design specifications, test requirements, Departures from Specification (DFS's), Request for Waiver (RFW), and Engineering Changes (EC's).
- Assist with performing design reviews, evaluating constructability, helping resolve technical issues and managing information.
- Assist with Marine Electrical Engineering analysis as they relate to vessels.
- Create graphical representations of the marine and electrical systems.
- Help inspect electrical equipment or systems.
- Aide in preparation of technical reports for internal use.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering OR High School Diploma and 13+ years of relevant experience
- At least 5+ years of experience in:
- Progressively responsible experience in Marine Electro-Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering support.
- Marine systems, electrical systems, machinery control systems, power generation, distribution systems or interior communication systems.
- Knowledge of U.S. Navy Power Distribution Architectures.
- Familiarity with USN, USCG, ABS and/or commercial ship design rules and regulations.
Clearance Requirements
