Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our Mission Critical Facilities group. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about designing innovative, energy-efficient facilities, with a focus on data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide quality control for a team of designers and engineers in electrical projects.

• Prepare detailed electrical construction drawings and specifications in collaboration with mechanical, architectural, and civil/structural design teams.

• Design power distribution, standby power systems, lighting, lightning protection, control systems, grounding, telecommunications, and fire alarm systems.

• Document study progress and results, and actively participate in client meetings as a technical leader.

• Conduct site surveys for design information related to various systems in data center and telecommunications facilities.

• Review shop drawings and equipment submittals for compliance with construction document requirements.

• Provide field construction management support, including inspections and project close-out.

• Adhere to corporate quality control and assurance processes for all electrical design work.

• Manage project schedules, quality, and budgets.

• Solve complex design problems and certify professional work on projects.

• Travel domestically and internationally for project needs, up to 10%.

• Conduct business development activities and collaborate with the Business Development Manager for new project proposals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's degree is a plus.

• Professional Engineer registration in the USA.

• RCDD certification or on the path to obtain it within two years.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in designing electrical power systems, preferably in data centers or mission-critical facilities.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with knowledge of EasyPower or SKM Power Tools being advantageous.

• Proven ability to read and write specifications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer-facing roles.

• Strong ability to work efficiently in a team environment with a commitment to customer service.
