We are seeking a Principal Product Designer, a pivotal senior-level role with substantial responsibility in our company. This individual will be a key member of our growth team, contributing to our aggressive customer acquisition, conversion, and satisfaction objectives. Our growth hinges on a self-serve, product-led strategy, making this position critical. Our team prizes ownership and initiative, and we eagerly anticipate your innovative ideas and enthusiasm to drive significant results.The role involves shaping and executing design strategies that align with our company’s mission and objectives while ensuring that all design outputs align with our brand and style standards. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to weave design considerations seamlessly into the product development lifecycle.
As a leader, you will guide a design team and establish and uphold design standards and best practices across the organization. It's crucial to remain abreast of the latest design trends and technologies and to equip your team with the skills and tools necessary to produce captivating designs.
Your role extends beyond day-to-day design leadership. As a thought leader in the organization, you will mentor other designers, champion the role of design in meeting our corporate objectives, and represent our company at design-related conferences and events. Building networks with fellow designers and design communities will also be part of your role.

Performance Outcomes
Product Design Quality
- Responsible for leading and delivering high-quality, user-centered product designs that meet business goals.
- Create visually appealing designs, easy to use and accessible to a broad range of users.
- Own the design work for funnel optimization flows.
Design Process and Methodology
- Understand the design process and methodology strongly.
- Lead the design team and ensure the design process is efficient, effective, and aligned with business goals.
- Distill complex information into simple and beautiful user experiences, from brainstorming to delivering high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
- Contribute and have a strong understanding of design systems and ensure they focus on impacting our products.
- Participate in UX research, both with and without a UX Researcher, apply insights to designs, represent the customer’s voice, and advocate for users.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with other teams, such as product management, engineering, marketing, and customer support.
- Communicate design ideas effectively and collaborate with other teams to ensure the design is integrated into the overall product development process.
- Be a strong voice in sharing ideas, managing stakeholder feedback, challenging assumptions, and bringing best practices to the team.
Leadership and Mentorship
- Lead and mentor other designers on the team.
- Guide design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Delegate tasks effectively and provide constructive feedback to help other designers grow and develop their skills.
Continuous Learning and Improvement
- Committed to continuous learning and improvement.
- Current on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
- Open to feedback and willing to make changes to improve their performance.
