Principal Data Architect

What You'll Do:
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level Data Architecture strategies.
- Define and maintain data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align data solutions accordingly.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of data ecosystems, ensuring scalability and flexibility.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and tools to enhance the Data Architecture landscape.
- Develop and communicate Data Architecture roadmaps and strategies to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to align Data Architecture initiatives with overall organizational goals.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of data management platforms and tools.
- Provide guidance on data governance and compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory standards
What You Need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role with a focus on large-scale data solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of database technologies, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and data governance principles.
- Experience with cloud-based data solutions and familiarity with platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and data query languages.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Certification in relevant data management or architecture frameworks is a plus.
- Proven ability to drive innovation and stay current with industry trends in Data Architecture.
