Here at EPAM, we are building an industry consulting practice focused on Consumer Goods, Retail, Travel, and Hospitality. The growth we are experiencing is driving the need for a Principal Consultant to support our strategic efforts in these consumer-facing industries.
Focused on the end-to-end value chain across the consumer goods and services ecosystem, we are looking for an industry leader who can understand industry challenges, apply them to client needs, and craft solutions for how to address them.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead EPAM strategic engagements in planning, selecting, and optimizing offerings that map a client’s vision & requirements to solutions
• Act as a subject matter expert for Consumer Goods, Retail, and Travel & Hospitality industries
• Develop business and product strategies to support our client's digital, commercial, and operational capabilities
• Work with our clients to understand emerging trends and technologies, the capabilities they uniquely enable, how they can be applied, and what problems they can solve
• Work closely with Florida and Carolina business units to support and lead business development
• As a Principal Consultant, you will help to define EPAM’s go-to-market value proposition for Consumer Industries consulting. This includes interfacing with other senior leadership to craft related industry offerings
• Define, implement, and maintain industry best practices that balance business, technology, and customer needs
• Support sales and pre-sales activities by assessing opportunities, designing solutions, developing proposals, establishing relationships with clients and prospective clients, and helping to close new deals

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience leading and implementing strategies and solutions for companies in consumer-facing industries
• Proven ability to operate independently at client locations. We are lean and rapidly growing - we need experienced consulting leaders who are capable of taking charge while also engaging in hands-on project work
• End-to-end understanding of customer experiences, shopping channels, and industry solutions
• Strong understanding of Consumer Goods, Retail, Travel, and/or Hospitality technologies and trends
• Strong leadership, communication, and influencer skills
• Skilled at analysing complex business issues with the ability to effectively communicate these issues to clients
• Able to anticipate and identify risks and drive action to mitigate and resolve issues as they occur
• Strong client network within the Consumer Goods, Retail, Travel, and/or Hospitality industries
• Executive-level presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Proven record of building effective teams - recruiting and retention is critical
• Project management
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree. Additional education is appreciated
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• Ability to work in an ever-changing high-growth environment
