PRIMARY THERAPIST – PLYMOUTH, MI
Personalized Nursing LIGHT House is a premier behavioral health care provider with 32 years of specialized addiction treatment service serving the adult population. We have locations in Plymouth, Canton, Lakeland (near Brighton), Dearborn Heights, Madison Heights. Our mission is to be an innovative and effective behavioral healthcare corporation (utilizing the LIGHT model of care), that strives for excellence clinically as well as administratively. Specifically, our intent is to increase client well being, decrease addiction severity, improve the quality of clients' mental and physical heath and contribute positively to society. All services will integrate substance use disorder, mental health and primary health care treatment in cohesive and client-centered programs.
Position Summary
The Primary Therapist role is a critical component to the LIGHT House Model of care and the treatment plans, assessment and aftercare plans for its clients. Personalized Nursing LIGHT House, Inc. is currently seeking full-time day at our Dearborn Heights, MI location.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Conduct individual therapy sessions
- Be responsible for treatment plans, assessments, aftercare plans and designing appropriate interventions
- Facilitate groups as required
- Ensure proper authorizations for billing purposes
- Other tasks as required

Requirements & Qualifications
- Licensed Bachelor’s (Master’s Preferred) (LLMSW, LMSW, LLC, LLP, LPC) and MCBAP certification preferred (CAADC), with minimum of temporary license and MCBAP development plan required
- Minimum 2 years experience working in substance abuse treatment
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
