Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pricing & Contracts Analyst to join our team. This role encompasses both analytical and administrative responsibilities related to contract management. The Analyst will be responsible for analyzing contracts, managing contract databases, ensuring accuracy in pricing models, and supporting the negotiation and administration of contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract management principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Contract Analysis: Analyze contracts to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Review contract terms and conditions to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and organized contract and pricing databases. Organize, categorize, and ensure data integrity and accessibility for contract and pricing information.
  • Contract Administration: Assist in the administration of contracts throughout their lifecycle. This includes drafting, reviewing, and executing contracts, as well as tracking key milestones and deadlines.
  • Negotiation Support: Provide support to the contract negotiation process by conducting research, gathering relevant data, and preparing documentation. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties to facilitate negotiations and resolve issues.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor contract performance to ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Customer Management: Assist in managing relationships with customers and other third-party entities involved in contract negotiations and execution.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on contract and account performance, including sales metrics and market share analysis.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and sales teams, to ensure alignment on contract-related matters.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. MBA degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Pricing and/or contract analysis in the medical device industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex contractual agreements and pricing models.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in contract management software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:
  • In-depth knowledge of the medical device industry and GPO/IDN dynamics
  • Prior experience working with distributors
  • Spine implant industry experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Stress Management: Ability to handle and manage stress related to meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks and projects.
