Pricing is a key strategic function at Entegris. The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing market trends and competitor pricing to determine the appropriate pricing for company products. They will also review previous sales data and company revenue needs to decide a market price for a range of products based on their findings. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to work harmoniously across departments.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Analyze pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends and competitors and report data to decision-makers.
- Identify marketing strategies to increase profits.
- Develop measurement tools to identify changing market trends.
- Identify appropriate sales and clearance prices to increase customer traffic.
- Compare sales trends to previous periods and determine the cause for decrease or increase
- Define and execute specific actions such as lifecycle pricing, active management of price/ volume/ profit tradeoffs and making pricing decisions in the context of the broader product portfolio
- Assist in implementing pricing and portfolio actions in SAP
- Develop process and best practices to sustain and continuously improve price management
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to perform advanced analytics in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as the successful candidate will with team members at all levels, including executive team members
- Ability to understand and translate business problems into technical solutions
- Detail oriented with ability to be able to be able to see the big picture while ensuring the details are accurately modeled and analyzed
- Self-motivated individual contributor with personal accountability to achieving committed results
- Ability to occasionally participate in web conference meetings outside of typical working hours
- Hybrid (mix of remote and on site) work flexibility

- Defining measurable goals, and holding yourselves accountable to achieving these goals
- Looking at the total picture and doing what’s best for the organization and our customers
Outstanding candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in pricing analysis
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
