Preventative Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

The Preventative Maintenance Technician’s responsibilities include traveling to customers’ location and completing filter delivery and filter change. The technician will cross train on maintenance and cleaning of paint booths.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Complete daily route by loading filter material and delivering to customer

· Interact with site managers and painters to communicate service issues

· Maintain warehouse and filter supply

· Use company software and equipment to document servicing of paint booths

· Physical fitness to lift equipment weighing between 40- 80lbs

· Maintain company vehicle with supplied tools and supplies

· Complete other tasks as assigned by manager

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Must be able to tolerate working at heights

· Should have previous experience and skills related to completing work orders

· Commercial construction or industrial experience preferred

· Good oral and written communication skills

· Able to solve problems, troubleshoot technical and mechanical equipment

· Pre-employment drug screen required for all drivers. This is a driving position.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and meet deadlines

· Display professionalism at customer locations

· A good driving record with a valid driver’s license

Education, Training, and Experience

High school diploma or GED

Travel Requirements

Extensive travel in the region and out of state up to 25% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this position will be based on experience with the ability to work overtime a must. Generally, working hours will be 7:30 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday. A per diem of $65.00 per day will be paid for any overnight trips.
