We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPE’s and TPO’s as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.
US Farathane is seeking an experienced Preventative Maintenance Technician. Perform daily Preventative Maintenance as assigned by Maintenance Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be able to stay after scheduled work hours or come in on a twenty-four-hour call basis.
- Report and/or initiate corrective action for any unsafe conditions immediately. Continue training as required.
- Clean machines and locates oil leaks and missing fittings.
- Replace Lamps as needed
- Repair and maintenance of bathroom facilities. And keeps parking lots and walk ways clean and free of debris.
- Maintain all documentation in a neat, orderly and accessible manor.
- All hi lo drivers must maintain safe driving speeds, have an acute awareness of all surroundings, stop at all cross aisles.
- Supervisory Responsibilities- In the event that this position is becomes vacant, the Maintenance Manger will resume responsibilities.
- Environmental Responsibilities- May be required to functions as a member of the environmental response action team, with specialized training as listed in the tracking system. Provides OJT to personnel where appropriate.
- Complete all PM's as directed &/or scheduled.
- All other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Manager

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills:
- Word processing, Spread sheet and data analysis, Windows
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations- Hi-Lo license required, crane training required, rigging training required.
