NOT ENTRY LEVEL WORK:

Aerotek is seeking an intermediate to expert level Machine Operator for a Company in Bend, OR. The starting pay is 23$HR on Day Shift (Tues-Fri) working 4 10's with potential for OT. The sheet metal Machine Operator Position 3 is the third level position in the Sheet Metal Fabrication Dept. This position requires the employee to run each piece of equipment in this department with setup and programming to be done by additional employee. The expectation for this position will focus on a single machine at a time with some cross over as processing time allows.

oWork independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and functions.

oEnsure all safety rules are strictly observed

oMaintain neat, clean and orderly warehouse appearance (Standardize, Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Sustain)

oOperate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

oPunch Operation

oAbility to follow instructions on basic machine operation requirements

oAbility to stand at machine to facilitate sheet load and part sorting for 8 hours a day.

oOrganize machine tools and shop equipment during longer processing parts on punch.

oAbility to measure and verify that parts meet the requirements of the shop drawing

oPress Brake

oAbility to measure and verify that parts meet the requirements of the shop drawing

oAbility to read prints to identify issues in production parts

oAbility to lift parts and stack parts for 8 hours a day.
